We are collecting food donations for the Ecumenical Hunger Program, which provides emergency food, clothing, case management, and household essentials to families in need in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Palo Alto. http://ehpcares.org/site/index.php
We will be collecting donations from 12-5pm and 6:30-8pm on Saturday, January 19 at the First Baptist Church at 305 N. California Avenue in Palo Alto.
All food items should be non-perishable, clean and have been stored well. The most needed items are canned tuna, canned soups, canned chicken, canned roast beef, jelly or jam, chili in a can, hearty foods, macaroni and cheese, and canned milk, but feel free to venture out of this list as well!
